Just successfully brought a 10 bit 40 clip into Vegas, need to make sure it stays at 10 bits through to final render. Pixel Format settings in Vegas properties tab shows only options for 8 bit and 32 bit. Am I stuck with using the 32 bit option (slow processing) if I don't want Vegas to downgrade the clip to 8 bits?

Vegas only has 2 operating (engine) modes: 8-bit or 32-bit float. So anything above 8-bit needs 32-bit float setting.
